ARRIVING IN PARADISE
Hello, my name is Jerry Dank, it is 1956 and I'm currently living the time of my life in London. I'm 23 years old, work as a farmer and a mechanic, mainly moving things around to the right spots and places that it needs to be. Don’t have a family just me, I get paid $10 every 2 weeks to last myself in eating and drinking to keep going. Working hours about 9-14 hours a day. Day off Sunday to be ready for the next day of work.
Something I’ve been wanting to say about the place I'm living at right now. Is that I HATE it So much, the environment, the amount of stealing and pollution within London I just hate it. Also, the lack of Job opportunities in London is TRASH, flooding, absolute TRASH. Being in a house with no heating and it's just cold MORE TRASH. London it's just not a place that people coming from different countries to here is good for them since there are lots of problems in London that need to be fixed. The reason why I hate London is because of how bad the Jobs are, not clean Environments to even see life around, just black everywhere, cramped places not enough space to even live there.
Now a Journey on the ship, I had the opportunity to go and travel to another place. So when I got told that I was going to another place I was kinda surprised. Sailing on the ship to go to this so-called new place, taking about 2 months to get there. As I'm on the ship I see the grey clouds above the passengers sitting and enjoying the massive waves hitting the side of the ship and quiet sounds of nothing just me in my own space. It's been 4 weeks past and still haven't made even 2 months yet. But still having a good time in the ship thinking about what the new place might be and that maybe, just maybe I might be able to find a job that can help me live to the better end. So some of the Push factors from London are mostly just the environment, the job opportunities, houses and so on. Meaning the people of London did want to stay there anymore due to everything in the country. As sailing out to the new land which means Pull factor, it gets me curious about what will be on it or if there might be better places and better job opportunities.
Finally made it to this new place as I get out of the ship the place look so opened and that when I looked around I saw so much Nature a very good environment, The flowers blooming in the far away fields, no black clouds good places to get a decent job to work at ahhhh! Just wonderful. I look around and see lots of opportunities, jobs and more!. But first I went to go and ask the captain before he leaves the new country, he said it was “New Zealand” a place for native people to live as one. First on my list of things I want to do was to find a decent job to get me enough food and water. So I left to go and find a job suited for me. I came across a lot of job opportunities on the board, I look carefully and found a good job suited for me I took the job and now I'm starting on working in a mechanic. The pay of my first job was about $150 when I had a look at how much I had worked for I was delighted with joy. After getting my first pay, enough to get me anything. I decided to go and buy something from there shops and managed to be happy about it.
