Colour is used effectively to create atmosphere. We see this in the two scenes - District 12 at the beginning and the Capitol as Katniss and Peeta arrive. In District 12 we see a natural palette of browns, greys and greens whereas in the Capitol people wear bright colours and a metallic palette of greys, silvers and white is used. This makes us understand that things in District 12 are dark, old and gloomy whilst life in the Capitol easy, crowded and futuristic. The director did this because of the imbalance of Rich Vs Poor. This shows life is hard and people are poor in the district but in the Capitol Life is easy.

10Eng:Cats are better than Dogs
So I am learning to brainstorm as many ideas as I can and when ideas come to mind it starts to go all out so filled up everything that came to mind.
My hypothesis:
I stand for cats, my statement is gonna be about "Cat being better than Dogs".
My Strongest points:
Cats are cleaner than dogs.
Cats are much quieter than dogs.
Cats make good company when inside.
I agree Cats are better than doggo's, Hi my name is Jerry A.K.A Jeray and today I am arguing about cats and dogs who would be better at what. My first point is "Cats are cleaner than dogs". It's true that cats are cleaner than dogs because the fact is that they can clean themselves, and you wonder where hairballs come from. Besides, dogs play in the dirt way too much and then come home making lots of paw prints on the floor of your house.

-Easy going, not stressed a##holes
Arrogant, Life isn't equal in all places
Effie - Bright dress pinkish - makeup- white face, pink lips
Crazy eyelashes
Symbol of wealth shows rich vs poor.
RICH Vs poor
In the reaping scene, the costume is used effectively to show the imbalance between the rich and poor of Panam. For instance, the children of district 12 all look alike in dull, simple and overworn clothing. In contrast, Effie Trinkett arrives wearing bright colours, a large wig and headpiece and excessive make-up. This makes the audience feel sorry for the people of District 12 because Effie is a symbol of the wealth in the capital. We see that not everyone lives in poverty. The director did this to show the hard life of those in Katniss's home district. coinciding with is Effie behaviour. She is loud, happy, and confident while the people of the district are quiet and scared. This can be juxtaposed to the scene where Katniss's and Peeta arrive in the Capital. In this scene, everyone else is rich and clean and they are the different ones.

-Subtle- Doesn't distract from the story.
Music
-When we meet Peeta
- When Peeta goes up onto the stage we as viewers feel sad for him because he didn't look like he doesn't want to do it.
-Sorry for him
-Isolated from others
-Horns = Victory
-Tempo starts slow but increase
-Predominantly minor - sinister
Extra Atmosphere mood - how you feel in a surrounding
Music and silence are used effectively to create a foreboding (evil) atmosphere in the Reaping scene. In the reaping scene, the tributes from District 12 are selected and we see katniss volunteer as tribute for her sister. The male tribute selected was Peeta. Silence is used when Effie draws out and reads out the tributes names to make us feel like the moment is real, to make us focus and draw out the suspense. The director has done this to make the audience worried about who will be chosen. Music was used to introduce the audience to Peeta when his name is drawn. the music is predominantly minor and has a slow tempo which makes us feel sad and worried like Peeta. This is combined with close-up shots of Peetas worried facial expressions to draw the veiwer in.

Street Art
1) Why do we look at street art? Why do we stop when we see it? What is our reaction?
We look at it because it catches our eyes and makes us want to look for the small details. Our reaction is that some can look good and others could be better.
2) Why do we use visuals and symbols around us?
We use colors to make it stand out. And, symbols to identify things around us
3) What are examples of common visual symbols in our environment? (collect examples for the drawing - think about what you might be able to use in making artworks later on as you do)
Stop signs, hazard signs, intersection lights, pretty much things that are bright

My Food Bag Semester
Who was my profile target?
My Profile target was a rugby player and what they eat to stay healthy and strong with growth in their muscles getting better at what they do.
What was your recipe decision based on?
So my recipe was based on muscle growth, carbs (energy), Iron, and calcium. Some rugby players would need that for what they do in their games plus their training without that they would be in pain and wouldn't be able to play for a while.
Explain why this recipe was chosen to do?
I chose this recipe because it links to what rugby players need in order to keep healthy. The recipe has all the needs for a healthy breakfast, so the ingredients that have all the Carbs, Iron, Protein and Calcium makes a player ready for anything.
How does it fit into the nutritional model of the dinner plate
Its fits by having all of what the dinner plate model has because with an Omelette it pretty much has everything of the three things on the model.
What changes did you make during the 2 practice practical sessions & why did you make these changes?
Well, the first one didn't work properly because we forgot to add milk which keeps it together and not fall apart, and with the other one, it works because of the changes we did with the first one and to our final one.
What were the positive about my Final practical?
The positives about my final practical were that when we had done the changes between the two I'd have noticed that changing what we had and putting it together for the final would be way much better than the first one we did. Which turned out at scrambled eggs and stuff.
Describe 2 things you have learnt in this semester
1 - Finding the right type of food, for the right type of age group or people.
2 - Working out everything about my profiled person and what they need to have in their daily lives to stay healthy and work to be the best.
