1)What was August's one wish that he wanted? If you could change one thing about your appearance what would it be?
'If I found a magic lamp and I could have one wish, I would wish that I had a normal face that no one ever noticed at all. I would wish that I could walk down the street without people seeing me and then doing that look-away thing.

2)What do you think it means to be ordinary? What makes August extraordinary?
I think to be ordinary means, that your just yourself and you blend in with the others. On the other hand what makes August extraordinary, its that even though he's different to others he's full of wonders that nobody knows about.

3)How do people react when they see Auggie's face for the first time? How would you react?
People's reaction, Stayed away from him, mocked him, secret chats about him, e.g. My reaction, Curious, want to know him more, say hi and ask if he would want to be friends (Honestly I would, no lie's).

4)August's dad said, "So sending him off to middle school like a lamb to the slaughter...." What does this mean? Explain.
It means that they won't always be there for August, now that he's found a school that he can attend to and make new friends, he's going to be a helpless victim around the school and students

5)Would you send August to school if you were his mom or dad? Explain why or why not.
I would, but then I wouldn't, two good and bad reasons why. (Good) August would make more friends and learn more about everything he's heard from being homed school, (Bad) None of them would be friends with August because of what he looks like.

6)What white lie did August's mum tell? Why did she do it? Are white lies ok to tell?
About the IQ test, so then he could get into the school, no because of its a lack of respect for the person.

7)Auggie decided he liked Mrs Garcia ‐ when she wasn’t wearing her shiny smile. What is a 'shiny smile'?
It's a fake smile

8)How does Auggie know the first time he meets Julian that he will be a bully? What are some of the ways that Julian bullies Auggie? How does Auggie respond?
He knows because of the way he act's, talk's and look's. some of the ways that Julian bullied Auggie. Is that when Julian asks about August's face.
