Aim: To test if a sample of food contains protein.
Equipment: Test tube, sodium hydroxide (NaOH), copper sulfate (CuSO4), food sample.
Method:
1)Place about 2mL of the sample into a test tube and add 5 drops of sodium hydroxide.
2)Add 5 drops of copper sulfate.
3)Shake the test tube gently from side to side.
Results:
This is the one with the Milk in it but mixed with the two Chemicals (Sodium hydroxide, Copper sulfate). We were trying to get a different colour instead of just blue because of how much Protein. The main colour and the main thing in the experiment was to see the Colour from both milk and egg change to the exact same thing.
Conclusion:
It was to see the milk and egg change to the same colour, because of its protein both have the same amount of protein to change to a certain colour.

This is my Sign for the workshop, it's a Mandatory sign meant to have or to clean. So this is what I made as a Mandatory sign to keep safe.

Things to know about Sign's
What is a hazard?
Before I explain what Hazards are I will be talking about some other signs related to this, like a Mandatory sign, Red Prohibition sign etc.
So a hazard sign is like a sign of warning, to tell you what you need to see in a workshop. The only place you would see a hazard is around building sites, schools, Factories. Its colour yellow tells you that it would be a hazard sign,
Examples:
- You'll be able to see it because of its colour.
- You will see what it's telling you to do.
- Water hazard.
What is a Mandatory Sign:
A Mandatory sign is a health and safety hazard, its to tell you that you need to be wearing in a construction site or at work. It's got a blue background, with a white picture in it, it tells you what you need to wear in a place of work, so then you will be protected from harm.
Examples:
- Wear safety equipment.
- Must wear what it says on the sign.
- Keep's skin or body from harm or getting into contact with materials that could damage your body.
What is Prohibitive?
Prohibitive mean's not to do and not to touch anything that's dangerous, It's mostly on the roads and workplaces.

Social Studies work review: Maori Musical Instruments
Learning Intention:
To understand the life of Maori prior to Europeans arriving and it's connection to today's society.

My research is about what type of instruments the Maori people used back then, and how they make music with them.

Wonder Work Part Eight- August (293-362)
1)Explain August’s fears of going on school retreat/camp, were they justified?
August has never left home before. it says "I've never slept away from home before"
